TelMD was proud to participate in Socialthon, the official Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Social Media Marketing Lesson by an Individual in Africa. The landmark event took place on February 19th at the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos (UNILAG). It brought together entrepreneurs, marketers, creators, and industry leaders eager to learn and be part of history.
Organised by Coach B (TheBeckyJoe) and hosted by Jona Becky, the event aimed to educate and empower participants through an extensive social media marketing masterclass while attempting to set a new world record.
TelMD Bringing Healthcare to the Event
As part of our commitment to making healthcare more accessible, TelMD provided on-site medical checkups for attendees during the event. Participants had the opportunity to receive instant health screenings, with the first 20 attendees receiving free medical checkups.
Our goal was to ensure that while participants focused on learning, networking, and contributing to a historic moment, they also had access to quick and convenient healthcare services.
Through our presence at Socialthon, we demonstrated how accessible healthcare solutions can seamlessly integrate into community and professional events.
